This picturesque village on the shores of Derrynane Bay provides an excellent location for swimming, diving and angling.
Derrynane House & National Park – This house was the home of the Great “Liberator”, Daniel O’Connell, during his political life. The park is open all year around as a museum. Fully restored, it contains a collection of O’Connell’s personal possessions and furnishings corresponding to that era. The park itself covers 320 acres with some beautiful coastal scenery and nature trails and 1 mile of shoreline.
Derrynane Ogham Stone – This stone was erected in its present position after being taken from below the waterline on the nearby coast.
