From here on a clear day, a fine view of the Skellig Rocks can be seen – Skellig Michael and Little Skellig. Little Skellig is a breeding ground for Gannets. Skellig Michael has twin peaks rising to 200 metres and 220 metres out of the Atlantic. Remains of early Christian settlements can be seen here high up on a series of rock terraces.
