Approximately 1 mile from Glenbeigh is the seaside resort of Rossbeigh with 4 miles of golden sands. At the North end of Rossbeigh Strand is a stone tower built in the 19th Century as a guide for ships entering Castlemaine Harbour (where the Wild Colonial Boy named Jack Duggan was born).
