Dingle Peninsula

Camp

This area has a beautiful sandy beach on Tralee Bay. There is a stone promontory fort on the mountain slopes 2,050 feet above sea level. It is the highest fortification on the Western fringe of Europe. The fort is well worth a visit both for its panoramic viewing of the Dingle Peninsula and Archaeological interest. This fort is known as Cathair Chonroi in Irish legend.
